In this guide, you will learn how to find the hidden market opportunities that will bring you more downloads and revenue.

Step 1 – Identify Your Opportunity By Country

Log in to Meatti and go to Market Opportunities > Country Explorer.

This tool shows the top-performing countries of your app. You can explore by top downloads, revenue, or user engagement.

Actions:

  1. Pay attention to the primary and second languages of the top-performing countries.
  2. If the languages are marked in red, it means your app is not localized into those languages yet. It also means you are not making the most of the market opportunity of those countries. You should consider localizing your app into those languages.
  3. Do the same exercise by exploring your top-performing countries by revenue, and user enagement respectively.
  4. Based on the findings, plan your next localization languages.

Tips:

  • To exploit the market opportunities more effectively, consider first localizing your app product page, aka app listing, without localizing your app contents. You can then analyze the download improvement by country and decide if you should fully localize your app contents.

Now go to Market Opportunities > Localization Explorer.

This tool shows the top-performing user languages of your app. You can explore by top download conversion, ARPDAU (Average Revenue Per Daily Active User), or user engagement.

Actions:

  1. Review your top-performing user languages by download conversion.
  2. If a language is marked red, it means that users using that primary language are willing to download your app (i.e., high download conversion), but your app is not localized into that language yet. So if you localize your app to that language, your downloads will very likely increase further.
  3. Do the same exercise by exploring your top-performing languages by ARPDAU, and user enagement respectively.
  4. Based on the findings, plan your next localization languages.

Tips:

  • Similar to the previous step, you may consider first localizing your app product page without localizing your full app contents. You can then analyze the download improvement and decide if you should fully localize your app contents.
